All the people were equal.
And people were joyful and merry;
They were all free from harm.
There was neither anxiety nor sickness,
There were no lies,
There was neither theft nor deceit,
And no one was false in speech either
All the people formed one casteless races.
Outcome of the project._ Onam also helps to create an atmosphere of peace and brotherhood by way of various stage performances , family visits &team sports organised on the day.
Need of the event _ Derry , officially Londonderry, is the second-largest city in Northern Ireland.
Our city is also famouse for the only remaining completely intact walled city in Ireland and one of the finest examples of a walled city in Europe.
This event helps people of this town & neighboring towns for a reason to travel between cross border, socialize with other community, & start a good relation with a culture heritage family get together. Community feel the security, free from harm , people are equal ,there will be no need for anxiety . like our peace bridge , this event help to reach our aim for future atmosphere of peace and brotherhood.

Onam is considered to be a Harvest festival of south India. Onam is unique , b’se The King Mahabali is so much attached to his kingdom & it is believed that he comes annually from the nether world to see his people living happily. In honour of King Mahabali , Onam is celebrated with welcome floral carpet (Pookalam).
